What you do as a Customer Support engineer at Uptrends

In your daily work as a customer support Engineer, you are the link between the customers and Uptrends. You answer tickets with questions about the product. You help clients find the right configuration for their monitoring. You check and, where necessary, correct submitted scripts for the more complicated monitors.

Operational tasks are also assigned to the support team. This includes remote management of the international monitoring network, server hardware and software at the 180 remote data center locations, the data center locations in the Netherlands and office automation. As a Customer Support Engineer, you monitor these tasks and participate in them.

Who is our ideal candidate?

  • You are an enthusiastic and customer-oriented IT professional looking for an informal working environment in which you can learn new things and where you can make an important contribution to the team.
  • Technical Degree or working and thinking level, obtained through education and/or experience.
  • Experience in working with web pages and internet technologies.
  • Experience in a position as support or help desk engineer is an advantage.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, XPath, TCP/IP, and DNS.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language. German is an advantage.
