What do you do as a Support Consultant Uptrends?

You work in an international support team to support and advise our users and potential customers. As a Support Consultant, you are the link between customers and Uptrends. You answer questions about the product, you help customers find the right configuration for their monitoring solution.

With your specialization in API Monitoring, you support customers in monitoring the correctness and performance of the most essential parts of their API. As an API monitoring specialist, you have in-depth knowledge of how APIs work, and you advise clients on the design of their API monitoring solution.

You are also part of our operational team, and you manage our international monitoring network of 180 global data center locations.

Who is our ideal candidate?

  • Experience with software application support preferably in a SaaS environment or cloud environment.
  • Experience with monitoring products.
  • HBO (bachelor's degree) working and thinking level.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language.
  • Knowledge of German or French is an advantage.
  • Someone who can properly distinguish between main issues and side issues.
  • Interest in the operation of the Internet and Internet applications and the monitoring thereof.
  • Knowledge of internet protocols TCP / IP, HTTP (S), ICMP, DNS, client and server certificates, cypress suites.
  • Specialized in supporting customers in monitoring the correct operation and performance of their API.
  • Experience with the use and/or building of APIs is a requirement.
  • You can thrive in the world of API builders and buyers.
  • Familiar with JSON, XML, XPath, SOAP, regular expressions
  • Familiar with authentication methods such as Basic Authentication, NTLM, OAuth.
  • Familiarity with PostMan.
  • Experience with any form of scripting or scripting languages is an advantage.
