What do you do as a Support Consultant Web Monitoring at Uptrends?

As a support consultant, you work on an international support team to support and advise our users and potential customers. As a support consultant, you are the link between customers and Uptrends. You answer questions about the product, and you help customers find the right configuration for their monitoring solution.

With your specialization in web monitoring, you support clients in the realization of complex monitoring solutions through the writing of transaction scripts using Selenium, HTML, Javascript, jQuery, and XML. You are also part of our operational team, and you manage our international monitoring network of 200 global data center locations.

Who is our ideal candidate?

  • Experience with software application support preferably in a SaaS environment or cloud environment.
  • Experience with the monitoring of websites or internet services.
  • HBO (bachelor's degree) working and thinking level.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language.
  • Interest in the operation of the Internet and Internet applications and the monitoring thereof.
  • Knowledge of internet protocols TCP / IP, HTTP(S), ICMP, DNS, client and server certificates, cypress suites.
  • Specialized in building and stabilizing web transactions.
  • Good knowledge of HTML.
  • Some experience in building websites and using modern front-end techniques such as Javascript, jQuery, CSS.
  • Experience with the Chrome F12 tools, Fiddler, and browser developer tools. Experience with Wireshark is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of German or French is an advantage.
