Uptrends offers a 30-day free trial to let you experience its monitoring platform. This includes capabilities such as tracking uptime, reliability, and performance of your websites, applications, and APIs. Once your trial ends, a subscription is required to use the Uptrends application. This article provides an overview of how your subscriptions work in Uptrends.
Understanding subscription plans
Your subscription gives you access to Uptrends' comprehensive website and application monitoring services, including synthetic monitoring, real-user monitoring, and other capabilities.
Uptrends offers several subscription plans designed to scale with your business needs. Each plan includes different features, monitor types, and capabilities. For detailed information about pricing, see Pricing overview.
View subscription details
To view your current subscription information, invoices, and billing history, go to Account setup > Subscription and invoices. You can see your:
- Current plan and subscription status
- Subscription renewal date
- Credit usage for each monitor type (displayed in a donut chart)
- Billing history and invoices
- Other subscriptions, such as Private locations and Real User Monitoring (RUM)
In each subscription plan, you gain a number of credits. Credits are the unit of measurement Uptrends uses to calculate pricing for monitoring services. For detailed information about credits, refer to Credits overview.
Renew your subscription
Your subscription will usually renew automatically based on your billing cycle (monthly or annual). If you need to manually renew or change your renewal settings, you can do it from the Renew page.
Upgrade your account
If you need more features, monitors, or capabilities, you can upgrade your subscription plan. Upgrades can be done at any time, and you’ll only pay the difference between your current plan and the new plan, prorated for the remaining time in your billing period.
For more information, see Upgrading your account.
Downgrade your account
If your needs change and you want to move to a lower-tier plan, you can downgrade your subscription. Before downgrading, carefully review what will change. For detailed information and steps, see Downgrading your account.
Cancel your account
If you no longer want to continue monitoring with us, we are sad to see you go. For detailed information and steps, see Cancelling your account.
