HTTPS and Multi-step API monitors now support the HTTP QUERY method, allowing you to send more query parameters and complex data in the request body instead of the URL, without being constrained by URL length limits.
Some use cases for the HTTP QUERY method are monitoring an API that requires a long search or filter, and retrieving data in one step of a Multi-step API monitor for use in the next step. QUERY is designed for safe, repeatable requests that do not change data.
